Psychology Today

Counseling is a relationship rooted in trust and offers space for exploration. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you’re invited to show up just as you are—grieving, stuck, overwhelmed, or in transition. I take a Person-Centered approach, grounded in the belief that healing happens through genuine connection and deep listening. My work is about being present in the moment—offering space for whatever arises while helping you access your own sense of strength and intuition. I’m LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to ongoing work that supports multicultural and spiritual identities. I hold a Master of Arts in Literature from Middlebury College and a Master of Counseling from Idaho State University, and I enjoy weaving creative expression into sessions. Before becoming a counselor, I was an educator—an experience that instilled in me a deep belief in the human capacity for learning, creativity, and growth. I work with individuals (14+) who are seeking insight and self-understanding. Whether you're navigating anxiety or depression, loneliness, major life changes, trauma, or simply hoping to better understand yourself, I’d love to connect. I have a special interest in grief and consider it an honor to walk alongside clients experiencing loss in its many forms. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing the banjo, and exploring Idaho on my gravel bike. If it sounds like we might be a good fit, I look forward to hearing from you.
